His primary responsibilities involve spearheading Alma Engineering’s core design functions, with a special emphasis on seamlessly incorporating steel structures into complex building systems.
Mohan Zahedi, P.Eng.
Principal
Mohan has been part of the team since 2014, with over 20 years of Engineering experience both internationally and within Canada. Currently, Mohan oversees preparation of all steel connection designs along with preparation and coordination of fabrication and installation of steel structures.
Amir Zahedi, P.Eng.
Operations Manager
Amir brings a wealth of experience in structural restoration and project management to the table. In his current role, he takes charge of Alma Group’s daily operations, leading their field and construction teams. Moreover, Amir serves as the essential bridge connecting Alma Group with their expanding roster of clients, fostering strong business relationships.
Hooman Alamshahi, P.eng., PMP
Senior Project Manager
With over two decades of involvement in structural design and construction, Hooman boasts extensive experience in designing structural elements and ensuring the constructability of building components. In his current capacity, he assumes the role of project manager for structural projects at Alma Group and actively oversees the construction administration of ongoing construction projects.
Conrado Que, B.Se
Project Manager
Conrado brings over twenty years of extensive expertise in steel detailing and project management to the table. Throughout his career, he has successfully led numerous large-scale projects in the industrial, institutional, and commercial sectors. As a project manager at Alma Group, Conrado currently manages the detailing team while effectively overseeing major, ongoing structural steel projects. His wealth of experience ensures precision and efficiency in delivering successful outcomes for diverse projects.
Reza Kavosifard, MS.Eng
Lead Structural Designer
Reza holds over ten years of Structural design and Engineering experience in the industrial and commercial field. His international expertise in the design and implementation of Steel and Concrete structures has produced countless successful projects. Reza currently undertakes design of multi-component structures and develops base structural drawings for new construction projects.
Renjith Sunny, B.Tech
lead Structural Detailer
Renjith’s previous work experiences in the detailing field has allowed him to quickly grow into the lead detailer position. Renjith is currently engaged in the industrial and commercial projects at Alma Group, providing steel detailing services to our clients on a variety of projects. Renjith also oversees implementation of new modelling techniques, templates and procedures; Guiding the modeling department to be more efficient and accurate.
Bardia Lotfi, B.Eng.
Construction estimator
Bardia joins Alma’s estimating team as a Construction Estimator, bringing valuable experience in reviewing tender packages, pricing construction projects, and preparing work orders and scheduling lists. He collaborates closely with project managers to coordinate incoming projects and ensure a seamless transition from bidding to execution. He is also involved in updating estimation and bidding procedures and ensuring Alma stays at the forefront of the industry when pricing new projects.
Alaleh Kamgar, M.Sc
Structural Design Specialist
Alaleh joined Alma with a solid foundation in structural design within the concrete and steel sector. She brings a wealth of experience to our team. Currently, she plays a pivotal role in overseeing the design, analysis, and drafting of intricate concrete and steel elements. Her extensive background ensures a meticulous approach to handling complex projects, showcasing her commitment to precision and innovation in the field of structural design.
Hari Selvaviknesh, M.Eng.
Structural designer
Hari is a key member of Alma’s steel detailing team, specializing in modeling and connection design across industrial, commercial, and residential projects. With a background in civil and structural engineering, he plays a vital role in the connection design process—performing calculations, designing open web steel joist (OWSJ) members, and ensuring accurate implementation. Hari also oversees the 3D modeling of his designs, guiding projects from concept to completion with precision and care.
Riya Johnson, M.Tech
pROJECT cOORDINATOR
Riya serves as Alma’s internal project coordinator, supporting project managers and designers on a wide range of engineering initiatives. She plays a key role in scheduling, internal team coordination, file management, and maintaining project workflows and procedures. In addition to her coordination duties, Riya collaborates closely with the modeling department—taking on select design and modeling tasks and managing residential steel projects from start to finish.
Natalie Mosto
BOOKKEEPER
Natalie heads the accounting department at Alma, where she manages all aspects of accounts receivable and payable, oversees invoicing, and ensures the smooth execution of day-to-day financial operations. With a detail-oriented mindset and a strong grasp of accounting procedures, she plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of the company. Natalie also works closely with project managers to align budgets and billing with project timelines and project budgets.

With a keen eye for organization and a passion for ensuring smooth operations, Caron plays a vital role in keeping our office running efficiently. In addition to managing administrative tasks with precision, Caron is a friendly and approachable face at our front desk, always ready to assist our team and visitors with a welcoming smile.
Saman Ashtari
Summer Student
Saman joins Alma as a summer student from York University, eager to expand his knowledge in project management, estimation, and project coordination. Currently working closely with the estimating team, he is gaining hands-on experience in steel construction and large-scale projects. His responsibilities include conducting quantity take-offs from tender documents and assisting in the preparation of fee proposals.
